Since the inception of our
calendar back in July 2002, The Firefighters Of York Region have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Breast
Cancer Research and York Region Hospitals. Due to the popularity, success and commitment of our calendar
firefighters, we have also been called upon to assist many other charities at their events. This brings our
TOTAL FUNDRAISING CLOSE TO A MILLION DOLLARS.
The Firefighters Of York Region are professional firefighters from across York Region who volunteer their
time on days off attending hundreds of events across the GTA. Thanks to the committed support of our sponsors,
municipalities in which we work and live and the Region Of York that allow every penny from the $20 Calendar
purchase to go directly to our charities.
A big part of what we do as Firefighters is help people in need. We continue to reach our goal by raising more money
for charity, helping our friends in Africa and by spending a few minutes at an event to share our time with those
who continue to support us. The Firefighters Of York Region are committed to Impacting Lives!
